I'm 2 months into keto and I've had two colds already. Before keto I barely got sick. Is this a keto thing? Did I weaken my immune system somehow?
Keto and immune system — getting sick more often?

Two colds in 2 months is within normal range — it's more likely coincidence or seasonal exposure than a keto effect. However, there is a transition consideration worth knowing:
During the first 2-3 months of keto, as your gut microbiome adjusts and nutrient status shifts, your immune system may temporarily be slightly more vulnerable. This is the same transition effect that makes the first few months of any major dietary change a period of adjustment.
What keto does that's pro-immune: reduces inflammation (major immune benefit), often improves zinc and vitamin D status in people who eat more meat and fewer processed foods, reduces sugar which directly suppresses immune function temporarily after consumption.
Ensure you're not deficient in zinc (keto-friendly: beef, pumpkin seeds), vitamin C (keto-friendly: bell peppers, broccoli, leafy greens), and vitamin D (supplement this — most people are deficient regardless of diet).
Vitamin D is really worth mentioning separately — it's not just immune but mood, sleep, bone health, and more. Most people are deficient. 2,000-5,000 IU daily with a fat-containing meal (easier to absorb since it's fat-soluble) and test your levels if you can. This alone can make a significant immune function difference.
After the initial adjustment period (months 1-3), I got sick less often on keto than before. Two colds in 2 years vs 2-3 per year pre-keto. The reduced sugar consumption and reduced inflammation seem to have genuinely helped. Give it time past the initial transition.
