I'm a busy person and some days I just cannot be bothered to cook. What are the laziest possible keto meals that require almost no prep but still keep me in ketosis? Talking like 5 minutes maximum.

Travel and busy schedule requires exactly this. My lazy keto rotation:

Under 5 minutes:

— Canned sardines/tuna + mayo + cucumber slices. Open, mix, eat. 2 minutes.
— String cheese + pepperoni + a handful of nuts. Zero cooking, zero cleanup.
— Scrambled eggs in a mug in the microwave: 2 eggs + splash of heavy cream + salt, microwave 90 seconds stirring halfway. Top with shredded cheese.
— Greek yogurt (full fat plain) + walnuts + a few berries. Bowl, fork, done.
— Rotisserie chicken from grocery store + a bag of pre-washed salad greens + olive oil. Buy already cooked, assemble, eat.

The rotisserie chicken option is my most-used. Zero cooking, whole protein ready, lasts 3-4 days in the fridge for multiple lazy meals.

Investing 30 minutes on Sunday to hard-boil a dozen eggs makes every weekday morning easier. Grab 2-3 eggs, add mayo or cream cheese, done. The prep time is front-loaded so lazy weekdays are truly lazy.

The "assemble don't cook" mindset is the key. Keto is one of the few diets where eating food straight from package/fridge without cooking is completely fine. Cheese + meat + vegetable doesn't need heat to be a valid meal. Remove the cooking requirement and suddenly keto is extremely low effort.

Gas station / convenience store lazy keto when I have no other option: string cheese, hard-boiled eggs (many 7-Elevens carry them), beef jerky, macadamia nuts, pork rinds. Not glamorous but genuinely keto and genuinely requires zero prep effort.
