Best keto breakfast ideas that aren't eggs every day

I love keto but I genuinely cannot eat eggs every single morning. I've been doing it for 6 weeks and I'm starting to feel actual revulsion when I look at them. Every keto resource says "just eat eggs!" but there has to be more options.

What do you guys actually eat for breakfast that keeps you in ketosis? I need variety or I'm going to lose my mind. Also I leave for work at 7am so nothing that takes 45 minutes to prepare.

Oh I feel this so much. Here's my rotation:

Greek yogurt (full fat, plain) with a handful of macadamia nuts and some raspberries. Stays under 10g carbs, takes 2 minutes, actually feels like a real breakfast.

Leftover dinner — seriously. A keto dinner eaten cold at 7am is perfectly fine. Ground beef with cheese from last night takes 0 prep time.

Keto smoothie: heavy cream, unsweetened almond milk, MCT oil, protein powder (check carbs), a handful of spinach (you can't taste it), a few strawberries. Blend and go.

Bulletproof coffee as your entire breakfast — if you're already fat adapted, 2 cups of coffee blended with butter and MCT oil genuinely keeps hunger away until noon for most people.

Smoked salmon with cream cheese and cucumber slices. Feels fancy, takes 3 minutes, incredibly filling, and very keto. I eat this 3-4 mornings a week.

Also: cottage cheese (full fat, small curd) with some seeds on top. 3-4g net carbs, high protein.

Since I travel a lot I can't always cook. My travel-friendly keto breakfasts: string cheese + pepperoni + some almonds (this is actually good); beef jerky + macadamia nuts; a can of sardines in olive oil (sounds terrible but when you're hungry and in a hotel it's great).

Also — Epic brand meat bars are legitimately keto and make a solid grab-and-go breakfast.

Chia pudding made the night before. Mix 3 tbsp chia seeds with unsweetened coconut milk, a bit of vanilla extract, and a sweetener. Leave in the fridge. Morning you have a thick pudding — add some nuts and berries. About 6g net carbs, zero morning effort.

I went through the same egg burnout around month 2. My solution: just skip breakfast entirely. If you're fully fat adapted, you can easily go until noon without eating. Coffee with heavy cream is all I have until lunch most days and I'm genuinely not hungry. OMAD or 18:6 IF pairs perfectly with keto once you're adapted.

These are all great! The chia pudding overnight idea is genius — I never thought about prep-ahead breakfasts. Going to try the smoked salmon thing tomorrow. Thank you everyone!

For the vegetarians here: avocado halves with cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning, or a cup of full-fat cottage cheese with a tablespoon of nut butter and a few blueberries. Both super fast and solidly keto.
